Author Guidelines

1. Submission of Manuscripts

Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal website:
https://i-aims.org/

Submissions may also be handled directly through members of the Editorial Board. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

• The work is original and has not been published previously
• The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere
• All co-authors have approved the submission

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 Format

• Manuscripts must be prepared in LaTeX (AMS-LaTeX strongly recommended)
• Submissions must compile without errors
• Upon acceptance, authors must provide complete source files, including figures and bibliography

2.2 Structure of the Paper

Submissions should include:

• Title of the paper
• Author names and affiliations
• Abstract (typically 150–250 words)
• Keywords (3–6 keywords)
• Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC 2020)
• Main text
• Acknowledgments (if applicable)
• References

2.3 Style and Notation

• Use clear and consistent mathematical notation
• Clearly state all theorems, lemmas, and definitions
• Ensure logical organization and readability
• Manuscripts must be written in clear, professional English

3. Figures and Tables

• Figures must be of publication quality
• Preferred formats: PDF, EPS, or high-resolution PNG
• All figures must be properly labeled and referenced in the text

4. References

• References must be complete and consistently formatted
• AMS citation style is recommended
• Include DOIs whenever available

5. Peer Review Process

JMAI employs a double-blind peer review process. Author identities are concealed from referees, and referee identities are not disclosed to authors.

• Authors must ensure that manuscripts are properly anonymized
• Each submission is assigned to an editor and reviewed by independent referees
• The journal aims to complete the review process within 3–4 months
• Acceptance rate is below 10%, reflecting high standards
• The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief

6. Publication Ethics

• All work must be original and properly cited
• Plagiarism, duplicate submission, or data fabrication are strictly prohibited
• Submissions may be subject to plagiarism screening
• Conflicts of interest must be disclosed

Violations of these principles may result in rejection or retraction.

7. Digital Archiving and DOI Policy

• All published articles are assigned a DOI
• Articles are archived through established platforms, including Project Euclid
• The journal supports long-term digital preservation

8. Data, Code, and Reproducibility Policy

• Authors are expected to make data and code publicly available when possible
• Use recognized repositories (GitHub, Zenodo, institutional repositories)
• Provide sufficient detail for independent verification

Authors should include a Data and Code Availability Statement specifying availability, access location, and any restrictions.

If sharing is not possible, authors must clearly state the reasons.

9. Special Issues

The journal periodically publishes special issues on emerging and interdisciplinary topics. Proposals for special issues are welcome. Interested authors and guest editors should contact the Editor-in-Chief.
