Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The Journal of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence follows the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors

Authors warrant that the work is original; that it has not been published and is not under consideration elsewhere; that all who made a substantial contribution are listed as authors and all listed authors have approved the submission; that the sources of ideas and results of others are cited; and that any funding or conflict of interest is disclosed. Every author is contacted directly when a paper is submitted in their name and must confirm authorship. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated results, and undisclosed conflicts of interest are grounds for rejection or, after publication, retraction.

Referees

Referees judge the manuscript on its merits, objectively and in time; declare conflicts of interest and decline where they exist; treat the manuscript as confidential; and do not use its contents before publication.

Editors

Editors decide on the basis of the paper's correctness, originality, and relevance to the journal, without regard to the authors' nationality, institution, gender, or beliefs; keep submissions confidential; declare and withdraw from conflicts of interest; and are responsible for the integrity of the published record.

Corrections and retractions

Errors in published articles are corrected by a published corrigendum. An article is retracted when its results are shown to be unreliable, plagiarised, or published elsewhere; the retraction is published and linked to the article, which remains available and marked as retracted. Concerns about any published article may be sent to the Editor-in-Chief at the editorial office and are investigated following COPE guidance.

Copyright and access

Upon acceptance, authors transfer copyright in the article to the Journal of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence. Abstracts and metadata are freely available; full texts are available by purchase on the journal's site and through Project Euclid.

Preservation

Articles are hosted on the journal's site and on Project Euclid.
